Exploration never ends.
In terms of geography, the planet may have been mostly explored. Humans have reached every continent, sailed every ocean, and climbed every mountain. But I’ve come to realize that the people and places of this planet, while perhaps are known on the surface, have many more secrets to be discovered.

Naturally, as a child, I started to realize we don’t do things the way animals do. Perhaps angry at things I had to put up with, one of the first observations was that animals don’t have a ‘bathtime’ - unlike I did.
Yes there’s risk in pushing yourself physically, in clearing a jump on a skateboard, or diving off of a cliff. But let me ask you this, would it be ‘safer’ to sit on your ass your whole life, never leaving the couch?
If you know from experience after multiple tries, as I did, that going to the gym every day fails after the second or third week, maybe it’s time to re-evaluate the goal. Why not save yourself tremendous frustration, and set a realistic expectation?
It was not really intended to be something to live in, but when time came to sell the house in the city, my grandparents took my dad and his sister to the Cascades for a whole year. Being the last lot down the road, my dad had the entire National Forest as his backyard.
